About Us
DORSEY Publications was co-founded by Tredell and Makasha Dorsey as a means to distribute quality, fiction and non-fiction by means of books, magazines, and newsletters. The husband and wife team are committed to providing a source of education and entertainment to the sect of people mainstream publishers considers as “non-readers”.
As the couple worked to develop DORSEY Publications, they realized that many small presses, independent publishers, and self-publishers lacked to tools to properly design and market their products. To fill this void, DORSEY Publications also offers marketing plans; press release writing and distribution; self-improvement training; and small business development seminars.
